What do I need?

A computer with a camera and microphone, a modern browser and a steady internet connection. There's nothing to install, and you log in with a code we email you.

How do hours work?

There's no schedule. Turn on “I'm live” whenever you have time and choose when it switches itself off; it also goes off when you log out. If you're the last one live with patients still waiting, you choose whether to see them or close the queue.

Do patients see when I'm online?

No. Patients never see who's live, how many doctors are online or a wait time. They start a visit, and the next live physician takes it from the shared queue.

Which patients will I see?

Adults aged 18 to 64 who aren't on Medicare or Medicaid, with everyday, low-acuity concerns. Patients join from wherever they are: you confirm their ID and location at the start of each visit, and decline the visit if you aren't licensed where they are.

How do prescriptions work?

At launch there's no e-prescribing. You call non-controlled prescriptions in to the patient's pharmacy and log them in the visit, so they show up in the patient's summary. Controlled substances are never prescribed.

How do notes and signing work?

The note (SOAP, diagnoses, disposition and the patient's instructions) saves as you type. You sign once the start-of-visit checklist is done. Signed notes are locked; you can add an addendum afterwards.
